Royal Newcastle Hospital

I am working on a set of pen drawings documenting the demolition of the Royal Newcastle Hospital that was a prominent landmark on the city skyline. It was another example of a large building, either industrial or one used by the public, adjacent to Newcastle’s beautiful coastline or harbour foreshore. It is now wrapped in green netting and coming down floor by floor and vanishing before our eyes.
